- 08:38 MST: January 2015 through November 2017 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been re-generated due to an occasional random rounding anomaly in the 1-minute quality assessed data. This concludes all required months that needed re-generation due to this issue. -Afshin Andreas
- 16:55 MST: The SRRL BMS instrument pictures page has been updated to include major changes for BMS v16. -Afshin Andreas
- 15:43 MST: October 2024 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been generated. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:06 MST: The SRRL BTS2048-UV-S-WP has been non-operational since Oct 30 @ 9:15 MST, problem is unknown at this time and troubleshooting will resume on Nov 11. -Afshin Andreas
- 08:17 MST: UCAR is no longer processing ground GNSS data for PWV; funding to support this work expired years ago and the COSMIC group has not been able to keep this activity going. Therefore, PWV data collection on MIDC for SRRL, SolarTAC, and University of Oregon has been shut down until further notice. -Afshin Andreas
- 10:44 MST: On 8-OCT-2024, the radiometers at UA OASIS were swapped out with radiometers calibrated in BORCAL 2024-03, in addition the diffuse radiometer was upgraded from an 8-48 to a CMP22. -Afshin Andreas
- 15:59 MST: May through September 2024 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been generated. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:55 MST: The SRRL BMS Direct RG780 and Direct PAR were calibrated on 9/13/2024. New factors were entered into logger on 9/19/2024 @ 10:40 MST. -Afshin Andreas
- 09:57 MST: The SRRL BMS Global 90 PSP and LI-200 Sensors were replaced with sensors calibrated in BORCAL 2024-03 between approx. 9:36 and 9:51 MST today. Logger was updated with new factors at 9:52 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 08:58 MST: All SRRL BMS Diffuse radiometers (CM22 #1, CM22 #2, SR25, SR20, 8-48, SB 8-48) were swapped out between approx. 08:40 and 10:11 MST on 8/23/2024 with instruments calibrated in BORCAL 2024-02. With the exception of the SR20 and SB 8-48, no data loss occurred because automatic substitution was enabled with radiometers that were not being swapped at that particular moment. Logger was updated with new factors 8/23/2024 at 09:16 MST (CM22 #1, SR25, SB 8-48) and 09:46 MST (CM22 #2, SR20, 8-48). -Afshin Andreas
- 11:03 MST: he SRRL BMS Upwelling pyranometers (CMP11, CM3, LI200) were swapped out today with radiometers calibrated in BORCAL 2024-02, factors updated in logger @ 10:54 MST today (CM3, LI200) and 10:59 MST today (CMP11). -Afshin Andreas
- 13:50 MST: The SRRL BMS 40-South pyranometers (CMP22, SPLite2, LI200R) were swapped out yesterday with radiometers calibrated in BORCAL 2024-04, factors updated in logger @ 13:04 MST yesterday. -Afshin Andreas
- 13:33 MST: The Flatirons M2 tower was dropped today from 07:24 to 10:02 MST, so that the temperature probes, wind speed and direction sensors could replaced (2, 5, 10, 20 meter levels only). Calibration constants for new temperature and wind speed sensors were updated in logger program at 08:57 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 16:51 MST: The SRRL BMS Global RG780 radiometer was calibrated on 7/12/2024. New factors were entered into logger today @ 16:50 MST. -Afshin Andreas
- 08:16 MST: The SRRL BMS Pressure Transducer was swapped out with a calibrated sensor at 7:48 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 17:26 MST: The NREL ESIF station Wi-Fi signal has been improved and the Temp/RH/WS sensors have been upgraded to a MetSENS500 weather sensor on July 15. -Afshin Andreas
- 13:47 MST: SolarTAC radiometers were swapped out with instruments calibrated in BORCAL 2024-03 between 06:48 MST and 07:44 MST today. The diffuse radiometer was also upgraded from an 8-48 to a CMP22. Logger updated with new factors at 07:45 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 14:33 MST: The SRRL BMS Global PSP RG780 Filtered dome was replaced at 14:20 MST today, the sensor and filter will be calibrated on the next clear day. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:33 MST: SRRL BMS Global Photometric sensor was calibrated on 7/5/2024. New factors were entered into logger on 7/10/2024 @ 11:30 MST. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:12 MST: SRRL BMS Global PAR, Upwelling PAR, and Global 40-South UV radiometers were calibrated on 7/5/2024. New factors were entered into logger on 7/5/2024 @ 14:55 MST. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:10 MST: All SRRL BMS Global Horiz UV Radiometers were calibrated on 6/5/2024. New factors were entered into logger on 7/3/2024 @ 9:35 MST. -Afshin Andreas
- 13:12 MST: The SRRL BMS South Sci-Tec tracker failed on June 29 from 12:55 to sunset, this affects the following: Diffuse 8-48, Diffuse CM22 #2, Shaded PIR; Direct MS-57, Direct sNIP, Direct CUVA2, Direct CUVB2, Direct CHP1 #1, Direct TUVR. Data for primary shortwave instruments was repaired today using data from redundant sensors on another tracker. -Afshin Andreas
- 16:33 MST: NREL Outdoor Spectral data can be integrated over the 250 to 400 nm waveband to compute the UV Erythemal (UVE) Index using the new "UVE summation" option. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:57 MST: December 2017 through December 2018 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been re-generated due to an occasional random rounding anomaly in the 1-minute quality assessed data. -Afshin Andreas
- 07:52 MST: The SRRL BMS BTS2048-UV Spectroradiometer failed at 12:25 MST yesterday, problem unknown at this time. -Afshin Andreas
- 08:47 MST: 2019 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been re-generated due to an occasional random rounding anomaly in the 1-minute quality assessed data. -Afshin Andreas
- 12:29 MST: The SRRL BMS 2-Axis pyranometers (CMP22, SPLite2, LI200R) were swapped out today with radiometers calibrated in BORCAL 2024-03, factors updated in logger @ 11:55 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 13:14 MST: 2020, 2021, and 2022 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been re-generated due to an occasional random rounding anomaly in the 1-minute quality assessed data. Monthly data from 2015 through 2019 will eventually need to be re-generated as well. -Afshin Andreas

- 08:52 MST: Flatirons M2 radiometers were swapped out today with instruments calibrated in BORCAL 2024-02. Logger updated with new factors at 8:40 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 17:19 MST: February through April 2024 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been generated. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:26 MST: The SRRL BMS 1-Axis pyranometers (CMP22, SPLite2, LI200R) were swapped out today with radiometers calibrated in BORCAL 2024-02, factors updated in logger @ 10:36 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 11:25 MST: All SRRL BMS Global Horizontal Shortwave Radiometers were calibrated in BORCAL SW 2024-02 (via signal patching), this includes: CMP22 (vent), CMP22 #1, CMP22 #2, CMP11, CM6b, CM3, SR25, SR20, MS-80, MS-802, MS-410, MS-602, SPP, PSP, GPP, SP-510, TSP-700, SP-Lite2, ML-01, LI-200R, LI-200, SP-110. Logger was updated with new calibration factors (R@45) at 07:22 MST today (07:27 MST for CFvsZ for PSP). -Afshin Andreas
- 11:23 MST: All SRRL BMS Direct Normal Shortwave Radiometers were calibrated in BORCAL SW 2024-02 (via signal patching), this includes: CHP1 #1, CHP1 #2, sNIP, NIP, DR20, DR02, MS-57, LI-201. Logger was updated with new calibration factors at 06:38 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 14:35 MST: As of 13:03 MST today, the SRRL BMS Display was updated to include a new Atmospheric Electric Field (EF) gauge and the daily absolute maximum EF was also added to daily summary table. -Afshin Andreas
- 15:51 MST: Data collection resumed at 15:07 MST today. Internal MIDC systems have been migrated from ESIF to RSF data center, to prevent future long-term shutdowns due to frequent ESIF data center maintenance. -Afshin Andreas
- 13:07 MST: Data collection will be down shortly for Maintenace. -Afshin Andreas
- 07:00 MST: Data collection resumed on MIDC at 05:33 MST today, after ESIF data center power was restored. Data from SRRL PWV was lost during this time (because external agency does not process historical data, only real time data). -Afshin Andreas
- 07:00 MST: Data stopped updating on MIDC at 04:33 MST today, due to an unannounced shutdown of internal MIDC systems for "ESIF Data Center maintenance". Data collection may not resume for two days. -Afshin Andreas
- 07:00 MST: As of March 18, the Internal MIDC Data Acquisition Systems have completed migration to a VM (instead of a physical machine at SRRL). -Afshin Andreas
- 10:24 MST: January 2024 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been generated. -Afshin Andreas
- 10:21 MST: The SRRL BMS instrument mounting locations drawing has been updated to include all changes for BMS v16. -Afshin Andreas
- 12:16 MST: March through December 2023 Monthly Data Sets & Reports/Plots for SRRL BMS have been generated. -Afshin Andreas
- 12:09 MST: The new Global SR20 and Diffuse SR20 were installed on SRRL BMS at 12:04 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 15:02 MST: The new Direct DR20 was installed on SRRL BMS at 14:54 MST today. -Afshin Andreas
- 07:46 MST: SRRL BMS was upgraded to v16 at 6:24 MST, changes are effective 1-JAN-2024 at 0:00 MST and include:
- Add Global and Diffuse SR20 (both DC Vent)
- Add Direct DR20 with Case Temp
- Remove SE POA, Diffuse SPP, Photometer TWC, Downwelling IR SL510
- Add DC Vent to Global and Diffuse SR25
- Remove DC Vent from Global PSP & Global SPP
- Add Min/Max for EFM.
3 new instruments (SR20/DR20) will be installed early this month. They will read missing until then. -Afshin Andreas
