(calc) Global Horizontal W/m2 02/16/2017 - - -
Calculated by the RaZON+ data acquisition system using Direct and Diffuse measurements.
PH1 Direct Normal W/m2 02/16/2017 - - -
Measured using a Kipp & Zonen PH1 smart thermopile pyrheliometer mounted on the RaZON+ solar tracker. The RaZON+ is mounted on the SRRL 19 foot tall instrument deck and the PH1 sensor height is approx. xxx feet above ground level.
PR1 Diffuse Horizontal W/m2 02/16/2017 - - -
Measured using a Kipp & Zonen PR1 smart thermopile pyranometer, which is shaded by RaZON+ tracking system. The RaZON+ is mounted on the SRRL 19 foot tall instrument deck and the PR1 sensor height is approx. xxx feet above ground level.
- Temperatures (PH1 & PR1) oC 02/16/2017 - -
Body temperatures of the PH1 and PR1 sensors.
RaZON Pressure mBar 02/16/2017 - - -
Estimated station pressure based on elevation.
RaZON Zenith Angle o 02/16/2017 - - -
Solar zenith angle calculated by the RaZON+ data acquisition system using NREL's Solar Position Algorithm (SPA).
RaZON Azimuth Angle o 02/16/2017 - - -
Solar azimuth angle calculated by the RaZON+ data acquisition system using NREL's Solar Position Algorithm (SPA).
RaZON RaZON Status - 02/16/2017 - - -
3 digit status code for the most severe system status that occurred during the averaging interval. A warning (value of 1) indicates a potential problem, but measurements are still correct. During an error (value of 2) measurements must be considered void. A value of 0 indicates the system is okay. The digit is the hundredths place is the tracking status, digit in the tenth place is the PR1 pyranometer status, and the digit in the ones place is the PH1 pyrheliometer status.
RaZON RaZON+ Time hhmm 02/17/2017 - - -
The time stamp (MST) as reported by the RaZON+ data acquisition system. Note: MIDC is using the timestamps from the CR800 data logger. RaZON and CR800 clocks should be synchronized, the RaZON+ time stamp is reported as a measurement field for diagnostic purposes only.
- Logger Battery Voltage V 02/17/2017 - - -
The Logger Battery powers the CR800 datalogger and is charged by AC power.
- Logger Temperature oC 02/17/2017 - - -
Temperature of CR800 datalogger panel.
Notes:
  • The RaZON+ reports 1-minute averages which is collected by a Campbell Scientific CR800 data logger using the MODBUS protocol. The CR800 is used for data storage and interface to MIDC only.
  • The CR800 is a table based operating system, data is converted from table to array format after data collection, also any non-numeric values are converted to -99999.
  • The RaZON+ cleaning maintenance history is available.
  • Known instrument problems can be found in the Data Quality Statements (DQS) database.
