BMSDiffuse CM2208/22/202200:00:0008/25/202208:03:00Due to BMS middle sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-2, NIP, DR02, RG780, TWC, LI-201, LI-190; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse SR25, CM22-1, CG4. However automatic substitution was enabled for the CHP1-2, NIP, SR25, and CM22-1.
BMSDiffuse CM2208/21/202200:00:0008/21/202223:59:00Due to BMS middle sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-2, NIP, DR02, RG780, TWC, LI-201, LI-190; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse SR25, CM22-1, CG4. On 9/14/2022 data for CHP1-2, NIP, SR25, and CM22-1 were replaced with primary measurements from south tracker (which were also reconstucted).
BMSDiffuse CM2205/13/202011:58:0012/15/202119:31:00DATA CORRECTED on 12/17/2021: Irradiances were increased by 0.675% due to revised BORCAL report for all BMS shortwave radiometers calibrated in 2020 and 2021.
BMSDiffuse CM2203/09/201906:25:0003/09/201913:41:00Due to a scheduled NREL/SRRL power outage, to install power meters on the SRRL building, The BMS Diffuse CM22 #1 irradiance value was substituted with the BMS Diffuse CM22 #2 value, because the CM22 #1 tracker was un-shaded.
BMS010034Diffuse CM2205/12/201800:00:0005/17/201815:30:00The ventilator fan on the Diffuse CM22 #1 failed. On May 15 and 16 it became apparent that the failed fan was creating heat and causing a lower signal on the CM22. The fan power supply was unplugged at the end of the day on May 16. The fan was replaced and the ventilator was fully operation on May 17 at approx 15:30.
BMSDiffuse CM2201/17/201707:15:0001/17/201708:56:00DATA CORRECTED on 1/18/2017: CM22 #1 Data was corrected by substituting the CM22 #2. Original problem: Due to a tripped GFCI powering the Sci-Tec tracker, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP1 #2, NIP, DR02, LI-201, LI-190, NIP RG780, TWC; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse CM22 #1, CMP11, CG4.
BMSDiffuse CM2205/02/201509:00:0005/02/201518:53:00Due to a snagged signal cable on the Sci-Tec tracker, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct NIP #1, LI-201, LI-190, NIP RG780, TWC; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse CM22, CMP11, CG4.
BMSDiffuse CM2212/21/201307:00:0012/21/201316:22:00Due to a scheduled NREL power outage, to upgrade campus electrical infrastructure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct NIP #1, LI-201, LI-190, NIP RG780, TWC; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse CM22, CUV4, CG4. Unfortunately, the backup generator provided to SRRL was providing bad power to the UPS powering the Sci-Tec trackers, therefore the UPS failed at 5:55 MST. Unfortunately, when normal AC power was restored at 11:45 MST, the Sci-Tec trackers had lost all their configuration due to UPS cycling on and off during the outage, therefore were not tracking. The tracker settings were restored on May 9 at 7:58 MST. The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CH1, NIP #2, NIP #1, LI-201, NIP RG780, CUVA2, CUVB2, TWC; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, PSP, CM22, CUV4, PIR, CG4
