AIM META DATA API



The AIM meta data API allows for automated extraction of meta data from several AIM data tables. Extracted data is equivalent to meta data retrieved using the web based intererface, except data is in CSV format.

MIDC station identifiers are listed in table below with example links for station and locate types (non-legacy only).
Notes:
  • A header is included with extracted meta data which describes each column.
  • All meta data parameters for a data table will be retrieved.
  • Legacy MIDC stations do not have any information stored in the locate or station types.
  • Only some MIDC stations have information stored in the dqs and maint types.
  • A MIDC Station List API is also available, which is a comma seperated list of station identifiers, station names, latitude, longitude and elevation.
  • For further examples, simply locate a web based AIM meta data page and add the ;api=1 parameter to end of request.
