| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 08/22/2023 | 13:24:00 | 08/22/2023 | 15:46:00 | Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, MS-57, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic substitution was enabled for the CHP1-1, sNIP, 8-48, and CM22-2. |
| BMS | S18015.22 | Direct MS-56 | 07/21/2023 | 15:00:00 | 07/24/2023 | 06:20:00 | MS-57 is out of alignment during this time. Data is low/erratic and should not be used. All DNI instruments on tracker were adjusted on 7/24. |
| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 08/21/2022 | 05:21:00 | 08/21/2022 | 10:48:00 | Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, MS-57, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. Since the middle sci-tec was down (due to collision with south scitec); data was corrected on 9/14/2022 by subsituting Diffuse 8-48 and CM22-2 with RSR Diffuse, then recalating Direct CHP1-1 and sNIP using BMS Global CMP22 and RSR Diffuse. |
| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 08/20/2022 | 11:56:00 | 08/20/2022 | 23:59:00 | Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, MS-57, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic substitution was enabled for the CHP1-1, 8-48, and CM22-2. |
| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 06/22/2022 | 16:53:00 | 06/23/2022 | 07:17:00 | Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, MS-57, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic data substitution was enable for the CHP1-1, 8-48, and CM22-2. |
| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 05/18/2020 | 13:03:00 | 12/15/2021 | 19:31:00 | DATA CORRECTED on 12/17/2021: Irradiances were increased by 0.675% due to revised BORCAL report for all BMS shortwave radiometers calibrated in 2020 and 2021. |
| BMS | P12022 | Direct MS-56 | 05/24/2018 | 08:00:00 | | | The MS-56 has a large positive offset in the data. Channel was shorted on 5/28/2018 on instrument platform and it tested okay. Problem is therefore related to instrument or instrument cable. |
| BMS | | Direct MS-56 | 10/09/2017 | 14:50:00 | 10/09/2017 | 16:00:00 | MS-56 and sNIP are out of alignment during this time. Data is low and should not be used. |
| BMS | P12022 | Direct MS-56 | 04/27/2015 | 00:00:00 | 05/11/2015 | 13:30:00 | The MS-56 has a large offset in the data. Problem started after rain showers. Instrument was removed from service on April 30 @ 14:45 MST for troubleshooting. Instrument was later returned to service on May 6 @ 16:03 MST (this time bypassing the AM25T solid state multiplexer), however due to insufficient sun the necessary shims could not be added to set alignment, data will read about 100 W/m^2 too low until the shims were added on May 11 @ 13:30 MST. Original problem is assumed to have been caused by the MS-56 high impedance (5 KOhm) in conjunction with the use of the solid state multiplexer. |
